Nathan Welden is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. He was born and raised in San Diego, California. He is easy going and laid back as a warm summers day. A Tennis instructor by day and a guitar srtuming crooner by night. Nathan is one of those guys you feel like you grew up with the moment he smiles a "hello" from the microphone. His voice is warm and smooth. His guitar playing is reminiscent of the days when John Denver and Jim Croce entertained their fans. He makes playing the guitar look as simple as walking. His on-stage charm is the same in the limelight as it is offstage. When you sit with Nathan outside a San Diego Coffee House you are bound to make two new friends in a half hour.
Nathan has been nominated for best male vocalist in the (C.C.M.A )California Country Music Awards and the San Diego H.A.T. Awards. Nathan has just released his first full length CD entitled "One Step Closer To You" produced by John Katchur. Which was nominated for album of the year in the 2007 San Diego H.A.T Awards. The album features local talent such as Jeff Berkley, Ron Franklin, Christiane Lucas and John Katchur.
